Healthy Kids

What is Healthy Kids?
Healthy KidsHealthy Kids is Oregon’s new health coverage for all uninsured kids and teens. Children under the age of 19 can receive comprehensive medical, dental, vision, behavioral and mental health coverage for free or at a very low cost.

How do families sign up?

What does it take to become a CAAO?

  • A completed application, which can be obtained through www.oregonhealthykids.gov.
  • Verification of your organization’s registration with the secretary of state’s office.
  • A completed W-9 “Request for Taxpayer Identification and Certification.”
  • A designated staff member or volunteer able to pass a criminal background check and fingerprinting.

Congregations and organizations helping with application assistance are eligible for a cash incentive from the State of Oregon. For each application that results in Healthy Kids enrollment, your organization will receive $75.
